About Genius Olympiad Indonesia
About Genius Indonesia
GENIUS Olympiad was founded by Terra Science and Education and is hosted at St. John Fisher University, Rochester, New York. Every year, thousands of students from dozens of countries present cross-disciplinary projects centred on environmental issues.
Since opening to Indonesia, GENIUS Olympiad Indonesia (GENIUS ID) has become the official pathway for junior and senior high school students to reach the international final — through a national selection process held domestically, without needing to apply directly to the global application system.
Participants choose from nine categories — science, art, coding, entrepreneurship, music, robotics, short film, speech, and artificial intelligence — then develop a project that answers one simple question: how can we take better care of the earth?
National finalists present before judges in Jakarta, and those selected continue their journey to the world stage in Rochester, New York, meeting students from dozens of other countries.
